Default IPOD Integration Problem

Ok new to the site, searched the forums and couldnt find the answer I was looking for. I am using the radio shack connector(2 males). When I plug it into the aux input and the IPOD, I am only getting sound out of the front driver side speakers. I took it in for service and the Lexus guys said they tested it with a different cable(a male/female) cable and it worked fine. My question is how the heck can you connect it to the aux input with a female/male cable.

HELP

I bought the same cable (male/male) from radio shack and had to exchange it because it was bad. Only the left channel worked. I don't know what they meant by f/m.

A) sounds like ur using a mono cable or something

B) don't use the headphone out on ur ipod its pre-eq'd to take out low end. goto belkin buy their charger that connects to the dongle port and has an audio out on the plug to plug into ur aux out.

buy that pivoting radio shack splitter for the cig lighter outlet so you can close ur center console and make sure u buy a ground loop isolator to get rid of the whine in your speakers.
