Default Upgrade from Non-Nav to Nav Version

Is it possible to upgrade from Non-Nav to Nav?

What are those OEM parts required for Nav version?

In fact, I am interested about the monitor because I want the rear backup camera for parking.

Also the bluebooth for handfree.

Default You can't "upgrade" to Nav.....

There are aftermarket Nav systems, Bluetooth systems and rear backup devices that you could add. It would be cheaper to trade in your car then to attempt to replace all of the components that would be necessary to convert your IS250 into a Navigation equipped car. Ironically a car is worth about twice as much if you buy it in part form, not to mention labor cost to assemble it. I don't think you'll find much in the junkyard market yet.....

Tryiing to add an OEM nav system to a non-nav car would be insane, expensive, and perhaps not even possible without some skills your question indicates you don't have.

That being said, if you want a nav system/bluetooth, I'd suggest looking at the Tom-Tom Go. Hell, since you can transfer it between cars and it costs $800, I'd say it's probably a better buy than the OEM setup if you're willing to forego the completely integrated aspect.

You would probably want to wait till you can find one in a junk yard. Unfortunately that cold take years, considering the cost of these cars.

If you do find it.... GOOD LUCK!

I don't think so because it's an integrated system. I have an `04 GX470 with ML, Navagation, and back-up camera. It's my understanding that this is an all-in-one system. But even if I'm wrong about this assumption, it strikes me that what you want to do is going to be cost prohibitive.

The monitor and Nav system are bundled together. There are aftermarket screens and backup cameras which are especially useful for SUV's and mini vans when backing up. That monitor you describe will cost about $4000 new from the parts dept not including the wire harness, the back up camera, new steering wheel etc. etc. If you want this feature you will need to explore the aftermarket and find the best fit for your IS.

The best way to do it if you don't have the money now to buy the Nav system, is to trade your non-Nav car for one with it in the future. Cheaper, faster, and hassle-free.
