- Realign the door handle cover because it is not flush with the body.

Everything is done except the door handle cover. The tech found the doorlock cylinder cover broken. . They need to order the new one. Again, Lexus Service is GREAT!!
So what's DRL ??? Can't seems to remember anything.

Default Damaged wheels after 5K service

well, it happened to me too..but in my case I wasn't so lucky.

I drove off the lot, I knew something was wrong then I decided to stop at a gas station to double check (less than 3 blocks) and *BAM*, my car didn't make the curb (it should have if the wheels were put on correctly). I damaged my front and rear passenger wheels (I thought about taking pictures, but I would have cried looking at them)

So, I took it back.

Basically they said, OOPS, that never happened before. So they have my car now, I got a rental and was told it would be repaired or I'll get new wheels tomorrow. We'll see what happens.

Lesson learned: Look at your wheel before leaving the lot...

I was too much in a rush to get back to work to double check...

Think it is safe to go get the 5000 mile service done even if you added an intake to the car? Should I bring it back to stock before taking it in?

I would bring it back stock just to be safe.

I left my LMS intake on and they did say a word. In fact, I left off the cheap plastic engine covers since I am prone to breaking the "pop" out holders. They are quite pricey - $3 each.

Right, you can go side to side, but I'm not sure what good that would do?

Anyone here actually like the DRL? I'm actually enjoying it, sort of sets the car off a bit in the daylight. I suppose the whole safety concept isn't a bad thing to follow either...

I'm waiting at Lexus Of Seattle (Kuni) in the lounge for them to do my 5K and to turn the automatic DRL's off. From the sounds of it, I'm one of the first IS'es to come back to their dealership for the 5K. Second, it sounds like I'm also the first one to ask for the automatic DRL's to be turned off too.

Guess we'll find out in the next two hours!

Cheers,
Kermee

Actually you can't go side-to-side. The stock 18" tires are directional, meaning they are only meant to work one way. So it wouldn't work if you swapped side-to-side.

well you could, if they unmount those tires and put them on the other side while still facing the same direction..

Just got shot down on turning off automatic DRL's at Kuni (Lexus Of Seattle). Just an FYI. Haven't checked Lexus Of Bellevue (O'Brien Group) or Lexus Of Tacoma, yet.

Cheers,
Kermee

Sorry Kermee

Sounds like your not giving up and that's a good thing!
