its easy to see if you have the wheel locks...and the key to the locks should be in a little pouch next to your spare in the trunk.

I'll pass. A good thief has no trouble with wheel locks... if they really want them, they'll get them. And the typical result of a couple winters with wheel looks is them being rusted and frozen on the studs, not to mention losing the key. So like I said, I'll pass.

a good thief does not steal stock lexus rims. so +1 on wheel locks for any kinda car you care about.
real point is to make it more difficult to steal your rims than the guy parked next to you.
if you got wheel locks chances are they going to pass and go for the easy fish next to you.

don't let anyone fool you. wheel locks do work and are pretty effective. they are not foolproof and 100% theft proof but anyone who doesn't want one it's just a personal opinion. it's like a deadbolt lock.

Not all thieves are good. As you say, if they want it so bad they can take it, then why so many auto alarms company out there? I'll try anything I could to not let my car or my stuff get stolen.
I had my stock 16' rims stolen on my old Acura Integra 10 years ago and i didn't have a wheel locks at that time. After that, i put on some 18's with some locks and never got it stolen again parking in the same spot for 4 years before the car was sold. Glad I bought the wheels lock.

The wheel locks come with the Preferred Accessory Package (Z1). It includes the wheel locks, trunk mat, and cargo net. My dealer orders it automatically for all their Lexus models.

Did you check the tool kit in the trunk? Pretty sure it's there.

Default Key step in using wheel locks

Always the first lug nut to remove...Alwasy the last to put on. Use a torque wrench to tighten all lug nuts to specs

Doing it this way prevents the locks from getting too tight to remove.

Order an extra key..keep in 'somewhere else'..just in case you lose the one it comes with
