SGM looks awesome tinted IMO (but I'm biased). I went with 35 on the sides and 15 on the back. I could have gone darker on the back side windows but wanted it to look even (advice from the tint shop).

Beautful tint. I will be getting the same color with luxury package soon. I think it might be unnecessary for me to tint the rear window since the luxury package will have a sunshade.

I was thinking the same thing but I think it would look weird if the back wasn't tinted and all the windows were. I figure the sunshade will just add extra protection.

For those that live in front-tint restricted states, can't you get a medical waiver? I was able to do this on my last car since I have a very high prescription for my contact lenses. Went to the DMV picked up the medical waiver form, had my Doc sign it, return it to the DMV to keep on file. Kept a copy in the car. Police can not do anything about it once you show it to them.

accelerate and mhiggi02 why where you told that you couldn't go darker on the front windows. I know the legal limit is 25%ft and 15%rr but I was able to do 15% all around and I'm in FL too.

Actually, I wasn't told I couldn't go darker. I have Formula One ceramic tint. They only had 15 and 35, no 25. I didn't want to go 15 on the back side windows and 35 on the front sides so I went with 35 on all sides for an even appearance.

just curious how come in the back its darker than the front, why wouldnt you just get them the same all around

I have an appt for next week..I am gonna go 35/35. I like an even look and I don't want the chrome "lining" around the windows to jump out in your face. I wish they didn't put that on the car!

Thanks for the pics, tint looks great. Just when I thought I had my color narrowed down, SGM lookin real hot in your pics. So now I'm torn between GFM or SGM.

I shot these photos with the Nikon D2x (12.4 mp). The lenses I used were the 17-55mm f/2.8G ED-IF AF-S DX Zoom and the 70-200mm f/2.8G ED-IF AF-S VR Zoom from Nikon.

The SGM looks great really. But im not sure about the Lexus paint quality, I have two marks already where the front bra would have been..

I had my done at dealer, I got 35% all around 3M tint film.
