Anyone else experience this... (this = not shifting into 6th when cold)

Seems pretty standard for all the Toyota autos I've had, 93 Camry, 2004 Rav4, 2001 Rav4....only one I never had that on was an 88 Supra Turbo. Talked to one of the Master Techs that handles warranty work here at TFS/LFS and he said it was perfectly normal for cold weather for both fluid temp and emissions.
Strangely though It's been über cold here many times since I've gotten my car and I've not noticed it in my IS350 at all. Although this could be that usually when it's cold it's also snowy or icy and I'm still on the summer tires so I never really get to a speed that would facilitate some 6th gear action.

Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences!
Bichon, Much appreciated I was hoping it would be something as you described.
The Rupp, I see you currently have 3 Lexus's now and if you've noticed it too that's good enought for me!!
Lem144, Thanks, I like the manual idea. I did look before I started the thread, but it was a half hearted effort, and I'll look again when I get home tonight, unless someone beats me to it.
