Has anyone noticed this... If you get the G-spider or the ISP instead of the stock 18" wheels when you first get ur car, dealers are charging anywhere from 1K-3K extra because of the "premium wheels" ... but if you call the parts department of any lexus, the spyder and the ISP are considerably cheaper than the stock wheels... like some 500 compared to 300 at the dealerships I called... what is the logic with that????

xwhite250: I was thinking the same thing. I have a Matador Red w/Sport/ML/NAV on order and I asked about the ISP wheels and the dealer tells me they are $2400. Needless to say, I am sticking with the stock wheels for a while.

BTW Hi to all from a newbie and soon to be IS 350 owner!

I just talked to the parts department and he quoted about $270 for G-spyders. I think I will get my car with the 17s, take the OEM tires out, put snow tires on them and buy a set of 18" G-spydres for the rest of the year.

I have the G-spyders on my IS, I'm glad I got them. They are staggered, so don't worry about that.

I would stick with the stock 18's for now, then just save up and get some nice, deep dish, custom wheels.

What are you talking about? G-spyder wheels are Genuine Lexus Factory Parts.

Thread title is "G-Spiders vs. stock 18's".

G-Spyder wheels are not considered aftermarket. What are you talking about?

He never posted anything about wanting aftermarket wheels. Only one person suggested it, but that wasn't even one of his options. He said G-Spyders or Stock 18's. Why emphasize something that isn't an option and isn't even a topic of this thread?
