The G-Spiders (and ISP Mode) don't have any lip and thus look weak. You need a lip to show off the staggered fitment and look aggressive. I suggest aftermarket over factory any day - plus your car looks that much more custom and unique to your style, not anyone else's. The stockers are more aggressive looking if you want to burn up your first set of tires before buying custom wheels.

Did you know the G-Spiders are made by Enkei? I see their name on the back of my new wheels.

There are 2 sets, one for the IS and one for the GS - the IS set is staggered, the GS set is not. If you have awd, the GS set would work the best. Check out Lexus-parts.com for pricing and sizing.

If both are at the same price......I'd get the stock rims.

Been there, done that. The stockers are way too common - in SoCal just about every IS has the 18" stock rims. IMHO, it was definitely worth it to upgrade to the G-Spiders, gives the IS a 'BBS' style look . . .

Guess how I voted...
Yes there are better aftermarket wheels, but for under $1K, I think that the G-Spiders are a great option.

Give me the G-Spiders. I think they are a big improvement over the stockers. To each their own.

gfm4me,

Do you have a drop? if yes, what kind? your car looks sick.. i have CW with g-spyders.. i ended up selling my stockers for $700 and picked up the g's for $800 when sewell was doing their promo.. so basically i got the spyders for total cost of about $150, after mounting..
