Default HID headlights.

How much would ordering a set of headlights be? I'm not talking about just the bulb/ballast. I'm talking about the entire headlight assembly, bulb, ballast, projector, etc. etc. Maybe Luis/Steve from Carson can chime in here? Thanks!

this is the way to go....if it will work.

I paid about $1000 for the complete bi-xenon assy on a Mercedes C320...loved it and they were OEM MB parts. Sure, I didn't get the auto-leveling, but they were 100% plug and play with just one plug for each headlite...ballast/ignitor were buried within the assy.

well, for the record, for the 2nd generation gs, the headlights are abot 1200 PER side. and for sc430, i believe it's about the same as well

so for the 2is? i think about the same. remember, that's PER side, so for both, you are looking at over 2k new. it's not pretty

I always fine this happeing. You want it but you cant afford it. But less then one month later you can afford to buy aftermarket or stock to put it on anyways. Should have just got the car laoded and financed it from the start. Good luck with the conversion.

no that's for the hid headlights. for non-hid ones i think they are cheaper.

anyway, yeah, i see it the same way too about buying cars. i usually just wait a bit and get the car fully loaded so i have no regret. that's why i got my is300 and sc430 loaded, seeing that my gs400 was bought used and not loaded (and i miss those stuff i don't have on the car)

Well if you buy those headlights for you car your going to put more then 800.00 into your car this month. In total your going to spend more in modding it now then if you would have done it from the start. And you would have payed for them over 3-7 years dependsing on what u choose. So what im saying now is if anyone can shell out money for all these add-ons now on top of your normal car payment, then you could have afforded them from the start.

I already installed the PROXENON kit on my car for a whopping $278...and I don't like to mod the crap out of my cars...I just couldn't justify the extra cost of the sport pkg ($3700) when all I wanted out of it was the memory seats and xenon.
