I dont get it.
I dont get it.
People with coupes drive alone or only with one passenger most of the time, and do not need that extra room in the back. It's used sparingly. I also find better visibility as the B pillar is farther back. Coupes are designed to be driven a little more sportily, but that does not limit an IS coupe from doing the same job.
There are cons, such as if you have children that need child seats, need space to pack large items, or if you really need the space to travel with four people.
Stylewise, coupes are sleeker and more streamlined. Sedans are more functional though. It really depends on your style.

If a coupe did come out for 07 I would get one over the sedan, all preference and social situation (kids, etc)

If you came from large sedans down to IS350 you will have a different perception of backseat space then going from a near non existant backseat car to an IS350. IS350 backseat space doesnt bother me, i just got out of college, im single, no kids planned in the near future obviously so it fits me
I am more for practicality though than anything else.
But having limited backseat space also makes me not want to drive anyone for lunch because I dont want them scuffing my leather.

It is for this exact reason why I have held off from buying an IS250 sedan. I don't need a back seat for anything more than insurance purposes. I love the IS sedan, but I absolutely drooled at the IS coupe photos I've seen. So, I have temporarily halted my vehicle shopping untill the IS coupe is released next year.
