Default Connector under the Rear Door sills.. What is it for?

Hey, I was intalling my illuminated Driver Door sills. there are connecters under the rear door sills. Since the Rear sills dont light up, does anyone have any clue on what these are for?

I was only able to install my drivers sill because my passengers sill came damaged And I didnt order the rear sills.

Sewell will replace my part ... and I decided that it would be a good time to buy the rears as well.

The only thing I can think of is that they used the same wiring harness for the IS as the GS (or was it the RX?), which has illuminated sills for the front and back. Seems kinda strange but believable from a cost cutting perspective
