Factory Body Kit or Stock

I think I know the answer to this, but I will ask anyway:
If you order the factory ground effects kit, I'm told it is installed at port - do they send your original pieces to you (I doubt it). I ordered this on mine, but you guys have made me a little nervous now. If they send the original pieces, I could take off the kit if I don't like it. If I bought the kit at a later date, I would get the original pieces back, right. So, if they don't give them to me, one could reason they should have to replace the originals at no cost (fat chance). Any suggestions? I will call my salesman tomorrow and see what he says.

Correct. The kit is just a add on. A lip is just screwed on to the orginal bumper. Its not a whole new bumper. So no there wouldnt be any extra or orginal parts. And the Screws usally dont go threw the bumper but under it. I dont know on this exact one tho. But i would say you could take the kit off without seeing any wholes.

I installed the kit so this is whay you get:
Front lip: The bottom part of the bumper is removed and replaced with the lip. The lip also screws on the bumper (yes you drill new holes on the bumper, irreversable).
Side skirt: The stock side skirts are removed and replaced with the wider skirts.
Rear: The bottom is just added on to the stock bumper. Screwed on that is (yes you drill new holes on the bumper, irreversable).

Yes, you have to cut the exhaust cut-out. The bumper already has all the cutting, drilling guides in it (they designed it with the bodykit in mind). I was first worried about the cutting for the exhaust, but the slack is like 1 inch, so my cutting was crappy but you'd never see it or know it.
All the holes you have to drill are marked, it's really hard to go wrong.

I would hope that the Lexus installed kits would be done properly, the only thing that concerned me were the reports that the fit was bad, obvious gaps, etc. As long as it is done well, I'm ok with it, just don't want some crap job on my new ride. Those of you who have seen these "bad" kits, does anyone know if they were factory equipped or aftermarket?

I personally don't think the kit is worth the $1000+ they sell the entire kit for. If I had it on my car, most of the people I know wouldn't even know that there's a body kit on it. Then again, it's your money. If you think it looks cool and it's worth the money, then by all means go for it.
