In an almost empty lot at my work, some womans mom hit my car in the parking lot. My car is the only friggin car in that side of the lot. AND I am not in the middle of the lot or anything. WTF.

What the hell do I do now. My car is GFM, no body shop will ever match the paint. I just cant beleive it. WHAT THE HELL

Could you post some pics, so we can assess the damage?

Let insurance take care of it and take it to the Lexus dealer to have the work done.

I'm sorry to hear.

If you can find a VERY VERY good shop, they can match the paint with perfection. Just don't take it to any cheap shop..

My current car is pearl white, and I had only part of the bumper painted, and the shop I took it too is highly recommended for factory jobs here in CA. You can't even tell it was even painted in the first place. I thought they painted the whole bumper.

Good luck.

How bad is the damages?? I would also like to see pictures.

The color white in general is not a hard color to match, it's also
the easiest to have painted over and you not see any impeferections
that may result of the re-spraying of the area.. So don't feel "too" bad..

Default We had a Glacier Frost GS300 that...

had some deep scratches enough to repaint the whole door. It is matchable but will need some skill to do so. The body shop that we used did extensive test painting to match it. It came out fine. Sorry to hear about your first injury...You did everything to avoid it that you could.

Yes the general white color. But we are talking about pearls on top of the white base coat. It's a tri coat. Not the easiest. I've seen many mismatched pearl white cars.

Man that sucks, Im sorry to hear that. I can just imagine how you must feel getting hit by a incompetant human being in an almost empty lot. Call the Lexus dealer and ask them for a Lexus authorized body shop. This is will be your best bet to get the color matched. Good luck.

Here are the pictures. The car looks much worse in person, the door is creased where it meets the fender. The paint is cracked. The crease is about 1 foot long.

What are my chances of getting the door replaced?

Here is a picture of where I was parked. Notice how packed the lot is. How the hell do you hit my car in this lot?

From the looks of that, it looks like someone hit you on purpose? How the heck does someone hit you between the front door and front fender side, in a completely empty parking lot?

If someone parked next to you and hit you with there door, it wouldn't look that bad, almost looks like someone backed into you but how from the side like that? Is there any paint residue from the other car on your paint?

Sorry dude to see that, hope they match up the paint. Just don't settle for anything less than perfect if Lexus fixes it, they will do a great job.

Sorry to see that man. Were you at work on a weekend (Saturday)? Or is this parking lot typically this empty?

Sort of looks like someone kicked your car about a third of the way up the door. Like the other posters, can't really see how a car could to that kind of damage just parking next to you. Truly hope that you get this resolved 100% to your satisfaction.
