If you didn't buy an IS350 what else would you have bought?

2005.5 Audi S4 sedan - they were giving big discounts, but still just below $50k fully loaded. IS350 was a better choice for almost as much power, better luxury, better MPG, and of course better reliability, at $7k less. My only regret is not having the AWD, and to a lesser extent, factory satellite radio.

The 330i or the TL were the ones for me....i hated the orange lights in the G35, if they were white or blue, i would have gotten that - but i chose to wait to see what the new IS was all about...glad i waited!

Considered a BMW330i for about five minutes after having to wait on my special order. Quickly got my senses back. Actually the only reason I went to Lexus about seven years ago was because I was going to have to wait for a BMW! So glad I didn't want to wait then. This one was well worth the wait. Plan to stay in the Lexus family.

My previous car was a 2003 acura 3.2 CL....i traded that in for a 2003 3.2 CL type S..6-speed w/ navi. (sooo rare)
Clutch/Flywheel crapped out on first day of ownership so reversed the trade.
now I have an IS350/nav!! I guess you can say i'm glad my 2nd CL crapped out.

I'm just very glad the IS350 came along because nothing else on the market comes anywhere close to meeting all my requirements and desires the way the IS350 does.
If the IS350 did not exist, a pre-owned SC430 or new Acura TL would be the most likely contenders. Volvo S60, M-B C-Class, Audi 4, and Cadillac CTS would have been in the running if not for reliability concerns. Infiniti G35 sedan is out because I don't care for the styling and could not stand orange dials. BMW 330i could have (reluctantly) been a contender if not for the hideous '06 restyling.

330i was in the back of my head also. But obviously IS350 is on top of the list. And there's a big gap between the top and 2nd.
It's funny, I just had an arguement with some folks at work about 330i vs IS350. They said 330i just looks sweet. I dont think they've seen an IS350 just yet. They said horse power doesn't matter because 330i got less, of course it does. Can I smack these people? I just did.
