no the cingular blackberry would not be able to be synced with the car's nav... and i'm assuming when you say "sync" you meant to upload names and numbers on to the car's phonebook

has anyone gotten their 2IS to successfully make a call using a Treo650?

for some reason, i can receive calls but cant make any unless i do it manually on my phone

I have had a pearl now for a couple months, and I am able to easily and quickly send my whole phonebook over bluetooth to the car....it takes 10-15 secs, for about 220 #'s.
The bluetooth works perfectly as well....it even gives a signal/battery reading on the nav screen....
