Here is where I mounted the bass level remote.
Overall again, I'm happy with it. They spliced into some wires in the back and used some adapter to make it an RCA connection. The bass is not as responsive or clean as I would like it, but for the money and ease its pretty good, better than stock (non-ML).
I installed it on the driver side of the trunk. Install took about 3 1/2 hours

Yes the shop I took it to did use fiberglass. I had them carpet it so it was not flashy and looked as close to stock as I could get…I have replaced all the speakers in the doors as well. I do have some pics of the build.

I am using a Audio Control LC6i to make it sound better in my car...here are the specs...are you guys with the bass link using anything like this?
Get Better Sound From Your OEM Stereo System
Today's factory radios are loaded with convenience features. Steering wheel controls, cell phone interfaces, and in-dash navigation make driving more enjoyable.
However, these features prevent the replacement of stereo head units with those that are aftermarket ready, limiting your ability to upgrade and often forcing you to sacrifice convenience for great sound.
Luckily, many AudioControl processors are designed for OEM integration. Speaker level inputs and line output converters allow you to add aftermarket amplifiers and processors without giving up the convenience or look of your factory radio.

I will have more pics of the install in about a week if you are interested
