Lexus IS350 to race in ALMS

I just read that the American Le Mans series has created a new category - GT2S. Lexus will race IS350's in this category later this year. Also, BMW will be racing their 6 cylinder version of the M3 in this category.
Can't wait.

Is it true that these cars will both be equipped with 6AT's?

Old news, but yes, they'll be competing. And yes, the original plan was to use a beefed up version of a 6-AT.
