Does the Nav play DVD's also or just in ML version

Default Does the Nav play DVD's also or just in ML version

Does the navigation display able to play dvd's? or is it just int he ML package. Curious.

The dvd player is exclusive for the dvd map only for the nav system! It won't read any regular disc
by any chance did you update your map disc?

yep as was said, ML only - if you don't have ML don't worry...think about it.....its not really a very useful feature, just cool when you're showing off your car.

only time I could see using it would be waiting for the wife when she's in the store or something and I don't do that often. Sure you can do the hack to enable playing while you drive but come on, who the hell is gonna watch a DVD while you drive to work?

its just for the cool factor IMO.

I have dont have other vechiles to switch to when i get home from work (which i guess you do). So my car goes more places then just to work.

The sound quality of the DVD Audio is fantastic! I listen to DVD audio as often as I listen to MP3 cds. And when I'm waiting at a light or at the market, I just hit the Picture button and I get to watch the concert as well.

I would love dvd audio but i dont think any music i like to lsiten to comes in dvd audio.

that's true!! and I have quite a few excellent live music DVD's.
