Story time!

I think this is a great feature... really helps during the break-in period and it also keeps you behaved

Why play King Of The Mountain through an internet forum? Seriously, grow up.

Question has been answered, I think this thread needs to come to an end.

yea, like 2 weeks ago. i was on my way home (Miami, FL) from Sebring, FL (about a 2hour drive). there weren't many cars on the road and i was just cruising (well 94 isnt exactly cruising, but thats what it felt like... DAMN LEXUS!!!!). a cop was going the other way and he busted a U-turn and pulled me over a few seconds later. got clocked at 94 on a 65. he mentioned to me that 1 more mph and it would of been $350 instead of the $208 i was getting.

im not complaining though (although my wallet sure is!), i deserved it. just gotta be more careful. oh well, 3 speeding tickets in a span of 4-5 years aint all that bad.

You're lucky you weren't in Virginia. That would have been reckless and a trip to court

I was referring to the "intellect" comment, not the first one. Sorry if I came off too strong, I just didn't want to see this blow up into something huge

car_lost - I know how you feel minus getting caught... the GS430 is WAY too smooth and I usually have no sense of how fast I'm going unless there are other motorists around

Yeah no kidding! I live in virginia and got busted doing 82 in a 55 on the beltway. I was merging onto the beltway from our toll road and passing to get in the left lane when a cop up ahead pulls me over. Needless to say 20+mph over is a Reckless ticket and I have to go to court April 28th. I got a lawywer which cost me $2000 in hopes to get the reckless reduced or a slight chance of having it dropped. Anything over 90mph in VA is jail time for most. The rule of thumb is for every 1 mph over 90 = 1 day in jail! 85+mph chances of losing license is very high. I'm glad I wasn't doing 3 more mph!

What ended up happening at court?

Cool

Glad I don't live in VA. Radar detectors are illegal there also so that wouldn't help you out any. Better move so you can enjoy that car.
