Would it be at all possible to have one post with the list, and someone could edit that post to keep the list updated? This thread is getting really long with the repeated postng of the list...

Just a thought, I'm no moderator.. hehe

This thread is still tiny by all stretches. In any case, it will be over in about a week or so....hopefully.

i think its going to be about ~10 dollars a piece... + 5 bucks for priorty mail/delivery confirmation..

so if you ordered your looking at:

1pc @ 15 shipped
2pc @ 25 shipped
3pc @ 35 shipped.
etc etc etc

that is just my estimates.. +/- 3 dollars or something.

No one will really knows the final details until the product is received by federalman. Let's say the key holders cost $9.50US each. For 100, that would be $950. In order to ship the package from Taiwan to the US, let's estimate about $50 for airmail which means each keyholder costs about $10 ($9.50 to $0.50 shipping).

There is a designated handler here in the US that will receive the package from overseas. You must pay the handler in order to receive one of the key holders. My guess is the handler will ask you to pay him first.

Wait for a post from federalman saying that he has the keyholders in his possession. Then wait for a post from the handler asking you to pay him. Everyone should be prepared to pay within 2 to 3 days of that post so as to avoid unnecessary delays. So I think this might happen within the next 10-14 days.

How do you pay the handler? You must have paypal account. Your paypal account needs to have a confirmed address. This is the address where your key holder will be shipped. Use your paypal account to send money directly to the handler (the email address). The amount you will send depends on whether you live in the US or Canada. Take the number of keyholders you are buying and multiply that by the unit price of the keyholder. I'm going to buy 5 so in this example, 5 * $10 = $50. Since I live in the US, I will add $5 for USPS Priority Mail shipping so my total comes to $55. If you live in Canada, your shipping may be slightly higher, the handler will let you know. I estimate Canada to be $9 for Global Priority.

Paypal usually charges a fee to transact money. The handler will pay a fee to receive all these payments, so we should all add $1 to our final payment which should cover this fee and any other incidentals such as printer and paper, time, gas, boxes, wrapping, packing, etc.

When I send my money to the handler, I will mark the payment as "goods" and include the confirmed address and in the notes section it should read "ClubLexus kensteele +5". When the handler receives my payment, he will visit this thread and mark me down as paid like this:

6. kensteele +5 *PAID

That way everyone knows the overall progress and I know the handler has received my "authorised" payment and properly identified me by my screen name.* The thread could potentially increase by another 40+ posts but that's still pretty light. Lot of little things to do, it's not a whole lot to ask, but we should appreciate the time and trouble federalman and the handler has gone to just for a tiny item from overseas.

*If the handler receives two payments from the same screen name, he'll be able to resolve it and refund/reject the unauthorised payment.

When the handler collects $1,000 he will send the money to federalman and the package will be shipped from Taiwan to the US. When the handler receives the package from Taiwan, he should inspect the goods and if everything is ok, he'll print labels, stuff boxes, and ship. He posts a note on here saying they are shipped out and then you can go into paypal and look at your own tracking, so you won't have to bug the handler.

So this is what I would do if I were the handler, I've done other group buys before and this usually works ok, I can do this one if needed (Kansas is in the middle of the US). But this is only a suggestion and my best guess, the handler will decide what is right for his/her situation on how to handle the money.

Kensteele if all of my customers in South America are as organize as you guys, I will have time to go to Lexus dealer everyday. Some of them take 2 weeks to get a TT transpher.

you guys rock, I will have lot more free time after the 16/04.
if there is enough interest I can help you guys with other parts for sure.

My salesman is getting me a accesory list for me, so I will be able to get more parts from Japanese Lexus part department.
