black interior. I don't like how the glove compartment is cashmere as well. and I don't like gray interiors in general.

Cool

Got the black interior. It is the easiest to take care of. I'm such a freak about keeping the car clean. I clean the rims every other day to keep the brake dust under control.

Black for me. Easy to clean and although it gets warm, the leather really doesn't hold heat very long when you sit on it. Not like vinyl. In Florida almost everyone tints the windows anyway.

Don't have to worry about heat (in the summer) because I have a car cover
Same experience from a fellow Californian. Couldn't readily find one in black, so I got the cashmere (or as I call it, "Santa Cruz Sand"). Interesting Bichon mentioned the Crystal White with Black interior is fairly common in his region (NJ-East coast). I wonder if Lexus thought drivers in colder climate states would prefer black, while those of us in hotter states would prefer the lighter cashmere hence they allocated as such. As for the gray (sterling), I don't know what to say about that ... it didn't seem like it was very common here in CA at the time I was car-shopping in late October.

cw with black is ubiquitous in the northeast. saw one in a showroom with a hideous black dual pinstripe. oh my god its ugly. to me anyway. my 04 tl was diamond white pearl with parchment [same as cashmere] and it was gorgeous. the best looking white derivative I have ever seen. but as I said I couldnt get white and am lucky that I got cashmere.

I've had black, or some variation on a solid dark color, in every car I've ever owned. Time for a change. I loved the cashmere the moment I sat in it. It's light, bright and noticeably (to me) makes the cabin a more friendly inviting sort of place.

I think the black interior makes the car look sporty and the cashmere makes it look classy. They're both are nice.

I have black interior on my CW and it really looks sporty. I just wished lexus put aluminum trim instead of wood now that would have been awesome.

yea black is the best option if you don't like to have stains on your carpet, i've yet to see a car that is five years old without carpet stains on there light color interior. Always has a nasty feel to the car.

I like the black interior too. I got mine with the cashmere interior though. My last car of 11 years (which I still have) was black on black, so I wanted a little change of pace.

Sterling, Eh it's ok, goes well with the sport package aluminum trim and
sport pedals, I would of perferred black but none were available at the time..
