Default Short Japanese Clip of IS350 and VDIM Off

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=46efsEoVodY

So who's done those moves in the U.S. with the IS350 and VDIM off? Got tired of seeing the 2IS'es doing a straight line.

Cheers,
Kermee

EDIT: Anyone else notice the Shark Fin on this IS350?

Has anyone ever been in situation where they sensed VDIM help?

I've sensed VDIM getting in the way a lot. It really pisses me off when I'm pulling out onto a street and hit the gas to get ahead of the traffic, but since the all mighty VDIM kicks on, I have no power for almost all of 1st gear!

Actually, that would be the traction control. Luckily you can kill that... well, sort of

Right. Figure Traction Control = Forwards & Backwards, VDIM = Side to Side. ...Sorta.

Well technicaly, the traction control is under the umbrella of the VDIM.

well, what if your making a right turn onto a street? After all, you are going forward and to the right.

So far, From all the test drives and Taste of Lexus. I haven't had VDIM intrude whatsoever. Might I add, I drove the IS350 around with every content to push it's limits. It accepted my every command.

From what I've experienced I notice the VDIM almost every day. One major thing is the steering... VDIM does not let you turn the steering wheel as fast even when doing a quick 3 point turn. VDIM engaging does not only happen when the Alarm goes off... Even when at a red light and you want to gun it after coasting and slowing down the power to the wheels cuts off for a slight second so your wheels don't spin out.
