This is the second rattle i have discovered in my IS 250 AWD. First rattle was coming from just below the left air vent. Was missing insolation and had the left knee airbag replaced. Now i have started hearing a rattle from just above the center air vent. Took it into service yesterday morning and they had to take the dash apart i just got a call from my service rep that one of the moldings on the dash was not fitted correctly when putting the dash back together and i wont have my car for another day .... no real point to this post just ranting

Check out the Nav Hack thread. It shows how you can disassemble and reassemble the center console. If you feel comfortable, you can try tightening all the nuts and bolts yourself...

well ill be seeing how well of a job they did tommorow afternoon hopefully it wont be neccesary

Sorry to bring back an old thread, but I recently got a rattle in the center dash above the vent and it turns out the rattle was from some missing clips that hold the dash together!? They are going to order the parts and have me come back when they arrive.

Gosh where was quality control the day my dash was put together.
