I know there has to be others out there that love to go fast like I do!! What's your top speed you've gotten to in your IS? Top speed of all time?
I've only gotten up to about 110 in my IS but I live downtown in the city so I don't take it on the freeway ever...
Top speed of all time would be 152 in a Ferrari California, could have gone so much faster!!

When I was younger I would hit 100 daily but now it's a rarity. I think I've gotten my IS up to around 110-115. Fastest ever was around 140 personally. Rode in a tuned NSX going 165ish.

It's all relative. What is fast. My ISF that does 170 is slow in comparison to my friends father's Jaguar XJ220 could do 212 mph. Is he crazy enough to push it to that, no. But a Buggatti Veyron owner would laugh at 170mph. Either way. Anything over 90 mph starts to get dangerous if you're on the street.

+1, personally about 100 in my IS, when I had street bikes 150-160.
It's all relative. What is fast. My ISF that does 170 is slow in comparison to my friends father's Jaguar XJ220 could do 212 mph. Is he crazy enough to push it to that, no. But a Buggatti Veyron owner would laugh at 170mph. Either way. Anything over 90 mph starts to get dangerous if you're on the street.

150 to 160 in a car is one thing...on a street bike?? Now that is what I call crazy!!! (in a really good crazy way)
I love love love my IS more than anything but I do feel like it could be just a little faster, at least the acceleration could be a bit quicker...sometimes I feel like it lags just a tad..

115 mph, (empty) SE Georgia back roads. Flat and straight, with visibility for miles. I wanted to go faster but I started to get scared

I hit 84 in my IS250 before, but then I got sleepy so I had to let off.
Fastest I've ever gone in any car was in a buddy's 3000gt Vr-4 (heavily modded too).... we burried the needle (180 mph) ... i was scared ****less

Very good point...I should probably consider these things before I make any major changes like lowering mine. But going fast is so fun :-)
