115 in a 35 but the highest the speed limit here is 45 for like 3 miles even though it should be at least 55
Theres not really any cops here
If I drove the whole Island and I saw 2 I would be surprised
They lowered the Limit after a typhoon and never raised it back up from what ive been told

I also notice the RPM don't reach that high at high speeds as oppose to the Corolla. It's probably because the V6 is more capable than an inline 4cyl motor.

Last but not least, it was full moon in the horizon so the additional gravitational pull helped as well...
I hit 120

100 on an empty freeway with my Valentine1 on as well as my laser jammers.
I slowed down to the speed limit as soon as I caught up to cars. I-95 was closed near Philly a few days ago and thats why there was no one on the road.

we went at it like seven times on the freeway today. i was going to work and he antagonized me first by speeding up and cutting me off. i was like heck nah. drove up next to him and gave him the "look". he sped off and i was like shiz, pretty quick for an intrepid, he must've floored it. so i floored it. we were already going 80, hit like 100, seemed like nano seconds. hahaha. we floored it whenever there were no cars in front of us. he couldn't keep up at all. i just zoomed past him everytime i put my foot on the pedal... haha. oh yeah. he got stuck behind a bunch of cars by the end so couldn't continue it and i had to exit the freeway. killed the scrub in his dodge tho. hahaha. LEXUS IS 350 FTW x7 !!!

oh, and i had it on automatic with pwr mode on the entire time. i love how the car seems to get louder with pwr mode. in addition to the beastly techno i had on that was giving me an adrenaline high. does it increase speed faster at fifth gear? and what's a powerband?

Yea the Power mode is very aggressive isn't it?
Putting in 5th gear puts you in higher rpm and torque range for optimal power. That's what I mean by powerband. The Auto mode has tendency to automatically put you in higher gears too quickly, unless you keep your gas pedal floored. The 5th gear at 130 mph will have more hp and torque than on 6th gear at the same speed.
