Default Hub Centricity

Those are impressive looking wheels indeed.

Will you need to use hub centric rings to get these wheels aligned with the hub? Or is the wheel bore an exact fit for the 60.06 hub on the IS250?

I hear wheels that are not hub centric will cause vibrations and rougher ride, even when hub centric rings are used. Do you find this true in your experience?

I would like to get aftermarket rims for my new IS250 which arrives in a month, but have heard that original rims provide the most perfect fit. Thanks for the advice.

90% of aftermarket wheels require a centering ring (not a spacer, they are two differ things). Its true, you will get a vibration if the ring is not installed. Its there to ensure the wheel stays centered on the hub when bolting it down. If its not there you run the risk of bolting the wheel down crooked and that's what causes the vibration.
If wheel companies had to produce a mold or tooling for every car's specific center bore there would be thousands of part numbers and the wheels would be 10x the cost. Instead, they make a couple hundred molds with he most popular center bores and a few thousand rings to make them work on other cars. The rings that come with these wheels are milled aluminum and very very strong. I have never had an issue with wheels that use centering rings. Installed properly you don't even know they are there.

Nice to see a high quality wheel and not just something shiney. I just put a set of BBS wheels on my 2006 Tacoma now it's time to do the IS.
