Default Registration and doc fees

I am picking up my SGM 250 AWD tomorrow and My dealer gave me a breakdown of all the charges and I am being charged 339 for 4year reg fees and 199 for doc fees. Is anyone else paying these kind fo fees?

Sorry to hear that. Only $1.99 tire fee, sales tax, and $50 doc fee. Have to admit, the dealer has been really great to me.

My dealer did give me a nice discount on the vehicle though. How much has your dealer discounted the car?

I paid 399.50 doc fee but got 2900 off msrp. In Nevada registration is done at the DMV not the dealership.

Default Registration Fee.

In NJ there is a law. Car dealers can not over charge for registration. I remember a while ago there was a class action law suit agains dealerships. In the pas 6 years I have bought all my new cars in NJ and did over paid for registration in all cases, hoever within 2 months got refound for over due amount. Good luck.
