I installed the XenonDepot HID kit for the IS-350 last night. What I didn't see on any previoius posts was how to connect the +12V supply. Since I did not want to disconnect the battery (to avoid re-setting the car's computer and memory), and since the battery terminal was too large for the connectors supplied with the kit, I looked for options. I found one right next to the battery. Immediately next to the battery is a fuse box. In that box is a threaded post (bolt) that is at +12V (you can see the large cable connecting it to the battery.)
I used I found that an M6 nut fit onto this post, so I used one to secure the two +12V connectors supplied with the kit. I carefully lowered the nut onto the post using a rubber gripped needle nose pliers (and stood away from the car), in order not to put myself into a circuit. I used a Dremel to put a notch in the fuse box to avoid crimping the +12V leads and wrapped them in electrical tape to further protect them.
The ground site was conveniently located just next to this fuse box.
Below is a link to a photo of these locations (the image is too large to post on this forum):

(Other threads describe how to cut the hole in the protective cover of the bulbs and hwo to connect the various wires, so I won't repeat those topics.)
The HID seem to be working just fine, and no adjustments were needed for the lights.
Regards,
Robert

it's easy i can explain it to u. u know where they tie the connector to the battery is? i think it;'s the 10mm on the side. and mount the red wire there and mount the black wire on the negative side. and mount the fuse where he mounted his. also my white connector which goes to the factory h11 plug the wires are reversed so if u mounted everything and ur lights don't turn on don't panic just reverse the white plug and everything should come out fine mine looks very similar to what ^^^^^^^^ has. hope this help
PS i didn;'t have to put anything in the fuse box i dunno what that is. mine isn't like that at all

My battery terminal has no smaller bolts. There was one large bolt on the top, maybe 13mm socket size, but I could not easily loosen it, and I didn't want to disconnect the battery. But this bolt was so large, the spades on the red wires would not have fit around it, so I had to find another +12V source.
I also don't want little wires hanging off the large battery as it looks like something was added on. I've heards cops around our area stopping people to check under the hood for mods.
