Has anyone opted for either Armorcoat or Never Chip (3M) for their IS? Both products are professionally applied, permanent, spray-on clear bra. I like the idea of this better than a plastic film, but would like more information on the actual cost and appearance from someone who has already gone this route.

You should go to griotsgarage as they have a spray on black bra in a can. I can only imagine what that would do to the paint.

Dude , ultrashield 3M clear plastic is the way to go ! Ultrashield of Charlotte NC is the place to get it installed. We put the blue painters tape on the front of the car to drive it the 185 miles to charlotte to keep the bugs off, and man it works, tape came off as pretty as you please.
Clear bra is good. everything cool. will post pics, when it quits snowing.
Oh and I am a Zaino believer now. been converted.

Thanks for reminding me about Zaino. Someone told me about this a few years ago, and I had totally forgotten about them. Guess I'll add that to my to do list.
