YYZLexus just reported in his "Things that bug you about the IS 250/350" thread that his stock Wheel/Tyre combination causes rubbing everytime he makes a U-Turn.

Could I ask if everyone with a stock 18" wheel/tyre setup has a problem with the tyres rubbing against the plastic when doing a full U Turn? I have not seen anybody else mention this. Is this an issue only with this particular car?

I am thinking of upgrading to 18" Prodrive wheels and 18" tyres according to the stock configuration. However, I am not prepared to have to contend with rubbing everytime I make a U Turn. Not in a Lexus anyway!

I will stick to 17" wheels and tyres if the stock 18" configuration causes rubbing every time a U turn is made!!

Could owners who've used the stock 18" setup please advise. Thanks!
