I have rattles also. I'm actually extremely disappointed in the interior build quality of this car. I did not expect to have these kinds of problems with a Lexus. I guess they are not immune to manufacturing crappy cars.
I have had rattles coming from the dashboard, the left driver's side door/window and even some creaking sounds from the back side of the car. I have even heard some strange sounds when I back out and turn the wheel more than 90 degrees.
My dealer had the car for over a week and got the rattles down quite a bit. However, they are still there and now I have a different sound (popping) because I believe they opened up the dashboard which introduced something new.
The driver's side door rattle is coming from the window I believe. When I hear the noise I can press on the window to make it go away.

I'm getting a little rattle from what sounds like the driver's side seat belt retractor.... I know some other people said they had the same thing. But it doesn't bother me enough to take it into the dealer.... yet.

I haven't had any rattles yet. But I must have cursed myself. I thought the 2IS sunroof creaking would have been eliminated. I made it a point to check it out before I bought the car. Now it creaks when driving over uneven pavement. If I close the sun shade it goes away. So much for a stiffer body and less flex. My IS300 had the same problem. Oh well...for now I'll see if I can live with it.

I had this problem, dealer service had my 350 for a week. Finally had to replace entire interior panel due to broken plastic weld points from factory job.
Problem was evident from day one, worse during colder tempertures. If I planted my left elbow firmly in the panel it would stop the rattle before it was fixed. Hope this helps anybody with the same problem. Should not be having these kind of issues when you spend this much $$$ -

For the most part it's been pretty rattle free.
- There was a rattle around the glovebox area, a real sharp sound. I took it in, the dealer had it two days and fixed it. There is a muffled rattle but I think it may be from the novel of a manual I have in there.
- "Oh *****" bar above the drivers head is rattling. It drives me crazy sometimes. I'm going to have the dealer look at it when I take it in next.
Hopefully no other rattles... I drive on 75 in Cincinnati everyday... I'm hoping the road doesn't loosen things up more... sigh.
Other then that it's been good, I had a 2003 Nissan Murano and this is like riding in a sound isolation chamber compared to that car.

have a rattle on center dash area (where the defrost vent is). rattles more apparent in cold weather and happens whenever i drive over bumpy roads. i think its the same problem as the GS center dash rattle where pins are used to help install the windshield.
