Default Instead of red-out, why not smoke-out!

Has anyone tried to smoke their taillights? I am interested in doing this but don't really know how to go about it exactly. Our tails are shaped in a way that might make it difficult to apply the firm or tint material and doing the spray will take time and patients that I don't have and very difficult it you don't know what you're doing. Anyone thinking about doing this and if so how are you going to do it?

Hi Nguyen not necessarily. I'm actually considering it but i dont want to disassemble my new car yet.
I smoke my C Class Taillight before and the decrease in lighting was not that much of a difference.

goodday

besides a body shop, anyone got any ideas. Don't think a body shop here in texas can do this. I might just have to red out.

??? i started redding out tail lights with my honda. i redded out my 95 civic back in the days, so did a lot of old preludes and integras.

smoking tail lights are for europeans. VW, Audi, BMW and Mercedes. I rarely see japanese cars with smoked tail lights.

i think it will look good on a black or dark colored IS... i wouldnt smoke a red or lighter color IS... i think all black would look pretty sleek.
