I have a manual IS250 and i can hear a slight rattling sound at the end of the first gear [right after getting my foot off the accelerator and shifting to 2nd] and similar but not as anoying rattling noise at the end of the 2nd gear... First I thought it might have been something loose underneath [exhaust ...] and I took it to the dealer... They told me it's nothing!! Probably just the makeup of the car!!! i feel that is BS, so my question is, do u guys have the same problem? BTW, the noise is more apparent on hills ...

Well i've got a 350 auto so I can't help you compare, but if you feel like its something that is NOT normal, I would suggest going for a test drive with one of the techs in a 250 manual on the lot if you're fortunate enough that they have one available and see if it does the same thing.
