Here's a bit from the manual that shows the parking assist and the backup camera together. It looks pretty cool!

Thanks for the nice remarks everyone, glad you liked my little write-up.

Questions… lets see
Parking brake is in the left corner, out of the way.

I pay WA. state sales tax when I register my car.

I originally optioned park assist with my order, but changed my mind. I don’t think its a mission critical feature that warrants the added wait (plus my TL wasn’t getting any younger).

No free A/W mat’s. The trade-in & car price had higher priority. I did get plenty of other freebies though.

Beautiful!! Isn't it great to be so excited about a car!?

I just picked up a Black IS350 with LUX pkg myself. I think it's great you got 2200.00 off MSRP as Lexus doesn't budge much on price, and the IS350 is so hot, it sells fast.

I haven't had an opportunity to take good pictures of mine yet, the ones I took in my Garage look like crap, but I'll probably get some soon.

If I was willing to wait and order one, I would have got the same color you did, but they had the Black one on the lot, and well, it spoke to me

hehe.... IXLRS, you're not excited are you?

Cool... congrats on the new IS. You should like it, especially coming from a TL. :P Maybe I'll pass by you one of these days around Seattle.

I'm thrilled to hear that the sale and trip went so smoothly! It was hilarious that I got to see your car before you did!

Timing was everything because luckily Kendall had the exact car I wanted (next to GFM) with the sport /navi/ml/no spoiler/preferred pkg
That is the exact car I wanted! But the 2IS was so hard to find around here 5 months ago, I was glad to find something close (see my sig). But that is a beautiful color, and I wish I had been able to get the ML (none were allocated to this area, to the confusion of many).

I also felt I could go either way on the park assist, but I'm glad I have it, since parking in NYC can be a pain. But I'd still have taken the car without it.

Very nice write-up and documentation. Pics look fantastic. Enjoy the car!

I'd love to see someone try the pre-collision system. All ahead full captain, and cross your fingers it works!
