Default Navigation Disc location?

I thought i had heard it was in trunk. But i took a quick look for it the other day and couldnt find it. Where is it? Do you guys think it will work on a aftermarket eclipse navigation unit? Thinking about trying it out and possibley makeing a updated disc for my eclipse unit in my other car.

I don't know specifically where it's at, but the ones in the GS are in the glovebox. You can get it out by going into the "secret" menu and ejecting it.

Please read the Nav unit owners manual in the back - it takes a faceplate removal to get to it....

I want to see a picture..

It is just a bit too much work to change the nav CD.. what if you are travelling in Europe, you will need to swap the CD..
it is a CD or DVD.

The nav disc is a DVD. It is located on your front dash behind the clock/Hazard light button. That cover pops off and the disc is behind that. In your tool kit in the trunk there are two really small (picks). You need to put those into the little holes on the cover at an outward angle and press those in until it clicks. Then you need to pry the cover off and you can see the slot for the DVD. You eject the cd from one of the menus, it's a button on the top right of the screen, I don't remember which screen it's on.....
