I didn't get any free time because I already had XM and just added the IS250 to my existing acct.
Any pics? During or post install?

Sorry, I didn't take pics. Probably this weekend, I could get pics of the trunk with the antenna installed or the nav display if that's of interest.

jjs:

Even if you have an XM account they should still give you 3 months free i.e. you can avoid the additional 6.95 monthly addon receiver charge for 3 months.

Additionally, XM is running a new car promotion where you get the 3 months free and then 9 months for $77. I don't have the promo code but if you call to cancel they will give it to you, they did me.

This is a much cheaper route to go than the 12.95 + 6.95. I simply changed my main account to my car which as stated is 3 months free and 9 months for $77 and then added my previous receiver as an add on for $6.95. Total average monthly cost for both receivers is $13.36 as opposed to $20.

I would recommend you saving the bucks and doing this very easy install yoourself. Yous should be able to do this mod no problem.
Sirius is set to be released May 31 as it says on www.lexus-parts.com
I would consider buying a shark fin (from the 07 IS) and adding it as my Sat intenna for my 06 IS. Its much better then on the truck and has to work better then inside the rear window.

Good info! BTW, did you consider Sirius at all? DId you just go with XM based on availability?

The car meeting my specs that the dealer could get from port already had XM installed so I took it. I would consider Sirius and would also be tempted by the one time $500 payment option since I keep my cars long term - something to consider in rate of return analysis.
