Default Good Lease Residuals, MoneyFactor,Acq. Fee

I was wondering if our resident experts on this forum could please add information like:

Good amount over invoice to buy at.

Residuals for # of months / # of miles per year.

Good Money Factor to use in negotiations.

Reasonable Acquisition fee.

Possibility of Multiple Security Deposits to reduce Money Factor.

And any other helpful information for every member to obtain a good deal on their new IS.
I see the Acura TL, BMW 3, Infiniti G, and others alike have a section like this... why not us?
May be someday this will be a good sticky for everyone!

This is going to vary market by market.

General consensus is $1-$2K below MSRP.
Residuals are basically fixed for the 2IS in all markets. Average is 60-62% for 36 months. Lower of course for longer leases.
Lowest money factors we've seen for the 2IS in extremely-competitive markets from LFS/TMCC is 0.00235.
Acquisition fee is $600 I believe.
Some members did multiple security deposits to reduce the MF. It's an excellent idea if you don't mind tying up liquid capital to lower your payments/over-all debt load.

Right now, it's YMMV on getting a "good deal" on a 2IS since it's so new. Your experience will be a lot more different dealer-to-dealer, market-to-market than most other members living in different areas. Basically, other forums sections dedicated to "getting-the-best-deal", is all regurgitated for any brand/model/dealership. It's all YMMV.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Kermee

I'm still waiting for my car but I can tell you I was able to get $300 off the acquisition fee after everything else was settled. They said its a $600 fee to Toyota and I would have to pay it. I told them I didn't want to pay that much to acquire the lease.

I'm sure when I go to pick up the car the money factor will be higher. I'm sure they are not going to lose any money when it is all said and done.

My special thanks to Kermee and Upbull340! I intended this to be a thread for everyone who's in the market for a 2IS to turn to for valuable info.

An example of what the competition is going for:

2006 E90 330i
Premium package
iDrive/Navigation
60/40 folding rear seats
Sports package
Comfort Access
Steptronic Trans.

$1500 over invoice
Acq. fee of $625
MF of 0.00195
RESIDUAL : 64%!
Monthly payment: $499
36m/12K

You're welcome. BMW has been running a HUGE promotion on E90 lease rates on the 36 month terms for several months now. My friend actually got a MF of 0.00098 from BWM after he haggled them down from 0.00120 on his new E90. There's no way LFS/TMCC is going to beat that for the 2IS'es for now. The only other vehicle that Lexus has with MF's that even comes close to the current E90 lease rates are the Lexus ES'es. 0.00195 seems a bit high now for the E90's.

Cheers,
Kermee

There are several threads already started with lots of good leasing info. Do a searching for lease or leasing and you'll find a bunch of them. There is also an "Official Pricing" thread that has some good info in it.

I'm also looking for some current lease numbers. I've searched the forums and found the same older posts that were mentioned. Unfortunately for leases, these numbers change as the model year progresses. Edmunds does have some info, but it's pretty dated as well. Good luck searching, if I come across some new info I'll be sure and post.
