Dealer question
Hey everyone. I was just wondering wht kind of communication from the dealership yall got while your car was on order. The salesman in my case called a couple times to update and once to say the car was coming in 3 weeks but i havent heard from him at all and its nearing 3 weeks. Is this normal? And from yalls experience when they say 3 weeks do they really mean 3 weeks or r they just trying to tell me something?

Did anyone get a call from the dealer with some kind of confirmation that the order was accepted by the factory? If so, when in the process did that occur? Thank you.

My salesperson was amazing. When I put down the deposit, they gave me the confirmation paper with the price we agreed on, as well as the VIN of the vehicle. I was told that dates may change. I was told it would take about 3 weeks.
I got a call after about 1 week telling me that the car would arrive sooner than expected, by about a week. Then about 4 days later another call, with an update, and finally a call saying that the car arrived and would be ready for me within 24 hours (they needed time to prep).
No surprises, and my salesperson was extremely communicative of the whole process.
