I've done approximately 90 - 95 mph, but only for a brief period of time.

P.S. It's nice to see you're still around LDYNRD, we haven't heard from you in a long while and there's even a guy here who purchased a used IS that looks just like yours, so I figured that you sold it and quit CL. Glad to know that you're still a part of this family

If you don't want to really drive this car, then I suggest you get a station wagon or minivan. Just my opinion though. All said, you can still drive this car safely at high speeds........so just use your best judgement for times you want to lead-foot it.
Well put . I in no way am promoting high speed driving on regular community roads, or even driving fast on a consistent basis. The road I was on is a 300+ mile stretch of open highway where at one time, we were passed up by a Toyota Prius hybrid going 90+.

Wow, didn't think anybody would notice that I've been missing. Been lurking most of the time. Concentrating on work, school and what I can do to the car . Gotta make sure that no one else will look like me. Still very much a part of CL .

Yeah, the Cali. roads have taken a beating. It's been raining far more frequently on the west coast lately. CalTrans will have ALOT of repair work to do this summer. NorCal and SoCal.

I do not condone speeding, but during my break-in period I took it to 140 MPH going downhill at 1:30 AM on a Friday morning. I had to keep shifting the dam thing into S-5 each time since gear 6 made it slow down.

If I were to hit a tree, then my damn life insurance would have paid for my funeral. I don't give a f*%$.....

only about 110mph, so far... It's handling doesn't really inspire me
to go any faster than that..
