this is not a feature but more of an observations... i have an 07 350 and on my driver side door panel near the hing there is a 'recycle' symbol or at least it looks like a recycle symbol so i guess the IS is made from recycled products.

Don't you love it when some jackhole still encroaches on your car by parking on or over his lines even when you've taken an end spot to get as far away from the ajoing parking spot as possible? Notice when this happens it's almost always a pickup truck?

I didn't notice until today (after owning this car for 3 months) that when adjusting the steering wheel I can push it out / push it in (telescopic). I figured the option with power / memory wheel settings would do this, but didn't know the standard config would. I'm sure it's listed somewhere that I didn't notice, but it was a nice surprise just the same, helps get the perfect steering feel instead of just the angle adjustment I've had on most cars.

i just discovered that i have a tire pressure monitoring system. i dont know what it is called but it really saved my a** yesterday lol. but i wonder on newer models if it tells you which tires are low in air. I have an 07 350 and it doesnt tell me which one.

Found out , that by holding the seek button for 2seconds on the steering wheel , you could change to any station , rather than just the pre - sets on the memory .

How do I get the puddle lights to come on when I walk up to the car or touch the door handle to unlock the doors? (They only come on when I manually press the unlock button on the remote)

I discovered that when you have your wipers on the lowest setting and you come to a stop...they automatically go to intermittent. When you regain speed it goes back to continuous low setting. I thought that was pretty nice and it appears to be the minimum standard for the model.

I just found out that my car automatically locks itself. It takes about a minute but if u unlock your car it will lock itself.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it only locks itself if you're near enough for detection. I think I've tried walking away without locking it and coming back to see that it did not lock automatically.

^^^ I have tested this theory. and if you have your key on you, and you walk away, (a certain amount of time later) it SHOULD lock itself...

Wow.... Honestly very surprised how many folks have not experienced the door lock/ unlock feature.

I have been using those features for 12 years now on lexus and non lexus brands!

And yes door panels are made out of recycled material for quite some time (10yrs) now
