10 miles before the test drive.
My Scions (two tCs) had 2 miles when I got them. Two years later, they have almost 90k miles combined.
I've only got a discount for mileage one time: '94 TT Supra in September of '94. It was a hardtop with ~10k on it. They said it was an executive demo. I didn't care, no targa top was my #1 concern, and finding one without it was VERY difficult. Finding a second after the ex totalled the first was even more of a challenge.

Mine had 14 miles on it when I bought it. It was still wrapped in plastic, on the inside and outside (rolled right off the truck!) Still had the dealer junk written on the glass.
I have had it for roughly a month and have 2300 miles on it (and my car has already see 100+ multiple times. Heh.)
It is my Interstate Baby, since I drive about 80 miles round trip to work and back. I love getting up in the morning to drive and running out the door in the afternoon to drive back! hehe!!

There have been threads on this before. Some people don't want more than a couple of miles. But really, how many is too many? In the end it really isn't going to make a hill of beans difference in the longevity of the car. As long as there are no cosmetic problems inside or out it is no big deal.
Too bad the exciting part only lasted for 5mins....
