It won't mess with the nav hack, it will just reset every setting you have in your car. Including: clock, radio presets, memory seats, and all of your nav options(like region and stuff like that). The dealer reset my battery once because they are stupid, it didn't take long to get it all back to nornal.

Try disabling the beeping alarm on the seatbelt warning and see if that will get rid of the noise.

It's VDIM teliing you "I just saved your life" It beeps and flashes the traction control light in cases where it had to work real hard to keep the car on the road.

The battery will reset everything. Nav, not the hack, just the settings (Search Region). It'll disable all of your power windows, roof, and trunk.

To reset, roll all of your windows down past half way, and then close and hold the button (to close) for an additional 2 seconds.

Pop the trunk with the driver's button and go out and close it. (Actually, I'm not sure that this applies to the IS - Probably not, but just something to be aware).

Finally, open the sun roof all of the way, then close it.

Its sounds to me like you have something sitting on the passenger seat and its setting off the seat belt warning check to make sure the seat belt light of the passenger is not blinking and or remove anything you got sitting in the front passenger seat.

Yeah, it resets the seatbelt alarm override too...... It doesn't mess with the trunk or the sun roof though.

Ok, let me get this straight, you are saying that from the moment you turn on your car up until you turn it off you hear a constant beep? And this beep has been beeping straight for the past 3 weeks?
