Just got hit with this bug. Was watching (listening to) a movie for about 2 minutes. I was going about 70 mph with the moonroof open, so lots of wind noise. Turned up the volume to about 50, and poof! Audio system froze. Was still able to see the video tho. Parked, turned the car off and on, and it worked normally again altho the volume initially was at 50 and almost deafened me :P

Where is the ML amp? Is it in the trunk next to where XM is supposed to go? I've done the nav hack so I'm affraid the dealer will mess with the nav unit if I take it in for an amp replacement. Do they need to access the nav unit at all to replace the ML amp?
