Anyone know the wiring diagram for the skinny wires on the amp??
I was wondering if anyone know the wiring diagram for the set of skinny wires on the amp in the trunk. I'm looking for some preamp signal wires to connect to the speaker level inputs of my mono amp. I know which wire are the amplified signal wires, but I dont think i should use those to connect to my amp since it might burn up my amp. and uh, i guess i can use a LLC converter for those amplified wires, but I'll resort to that only as a last option since it's more connections and extra cost, and besides my amp has the speaker levls build in. So, any help is appreciated. thanks.

2fast,
i think i can help you out. i went to that tech site from lexus and I paid 10 bucks for 24hours of their tech docs and I downloaded alot of files.
Give me your email address and I will email you the pdf for the audio schematics...
hope it can help you. It helped me, and I just installed a jl12w3 and a rockford power amp this past weekend in a custom box.

The only way i can think of is to cut the wire....strip the ends and then connect the remote wire to it kinda like a Y connection

philip,
i used a 18-20gauge T-connector from home depot to tap that skinny wire. It worked and works fine. Busted out the meter to make sure it works before I continued the install. just letting you know so u dont have to cut your wires
