Do you have the number and the name of the person you spoke to?
Has any one else called their dealership about this?

WHOOSH! (the sound of irony going straight over someone's head).
I can't believe the effort involved to slightly raise one's index finger twice, once to press the start/stop button and one more time to restart the engine is too much for you. Are you unwell?

In any event, don't hold your breath on Lexus "fixing" the "problem" as far as they are concerned, it is not a problem at all. It is that way by design, not an accident.

I thing i dont get is your trying to find away around not haveing to push the start/stop button. But yet your willing to insted push the lock/unlock button on a remote. Same thing. Either way your going to have to push one button. Can get much eaiser then that.

I think i have 1 SOLUTION to your problem
leave a window open, get out, close door, reach in and lock the door manually, then use the window switch to close window manually, leave, come back, use a key to manually unlock the car.
thats my solution but it sounds like its easier to turn off the car.
