Help!!!! (check VSC and engine lights came on)
Check VSC & Check Engine light came on this morning......Anyone know why or what to do.....Is it still okay to drive before Lexus Service opens tomorrow?

I wouldn't be surprised if your problem was a loose gas cap and not a defective one, but since it's under warranty, I suppose it doesn't matter.

I have had something similar happen to me a couple of times in my GS. My Lexus tech told me it is their number one "panic call" and is often caused by the gas cap not being put on tight enough. The system is pressurized and apparently if you don't tighten the gas cap enough it doesn't pressurizse properly. Then you get the Check Engine and VSC lights.
Normally when I take the gas cap off their is a whoosh sound as it the pressure vents. The two times I had the Check Engine and VSC lights come on their wasn't any pressure when I removed the cap. From now on, I twist it until it clicks several times (> 3) to make sure the cap is on good and tight.
