Sunroof Popping Noise?
Okay, I know about the dashboard popping noise related to the A/C, but i have a new one that sounds similar coming from the sunroof. Definitely a popping noise, like road debris pattering on a windshield. I can put my palm on it and push it up and make it creak a bit. I tilt it and it goes away. Its not affected by rolling down the windows (thought it might be a cabin pressure thing), and it happens while moving and stopped. It doesnt happen all the time however, cant quite pinpoint it. Anyone have a similar experience? Definitely having them check it out when i go for the seatbelt recall...

I had the same problem, but seemed to have fixed it.
If you stand outside the car and push the moonroof up (from the inside) you'll notice that the sound is from the rubber seal rubbing against the frame of the car. I believe this is because of the dirt on the rubber seal.
Open the moonroof all the way and wipe down the rubber seal (you'll notice that it will be kinda dirty). Wipe down the cutout in the roof also. Then tilt the moonroof and wipe the rubber seal in the back.
This should take care of the problem
I posted this before, hope it helps.

The dashboard sound is supposedly coming from the plastic inside compressing and decompressing due to a/c cooling it of or heat warming it up....or something like that! if you turn the air off, it will go away, so its definitedly a/c related.
thanks for the tip on cleaning the sunroof seals, i'll give it a shot and let you know if it works!
