well i ahven't actually gotten a chance to look for them yet, i know theyre near the valve stem cap somewhere.. can anyone give me a detailed post about how to remove them safely? thanks.
TPS tire pressure sensor? Instead of the usual acronym of Throttle Position Sensor. All the ones I've seen are inside the wheel and you have to dismount the tire.

Just out of curiosity, why do you want to remove them? I hope it's to mount new wheels

They ARE the valve stems. The TPM has a valve stem attached with a threaded sleeve on it. The valve stem pokes through the wheel and there is a "sleeve nut" that goes on the outside and holds the TPM box against the wheel. I always wondered what they look like, so when I got my new wheels mounted I stayed in the shop and watched them switch the TPM's to the new wheels.
And I always thought the TPS was a report used to torture poor programmers like me. "Umm, yeah, we're gonna need you to come in this weekend, thanks..."

did you remember how they removed it? cause i need to do that.. and taking the tires off is not an option i have..
I believe you still need to dismount the tires, to remove them, and install them onto the new wheels.....without the tires on...... You already installed & mounted the new rims huh Johnny?

Pocky is correct. The guy who did my tires actually took off the "sleeve nut" and pushed the valve stem back inside the tire. Then he used the "dismounting machine" (not sure what to call it) to push the sidewall of the tire down far enough to get his hand inside and grabbed the TPM. It turns out to be rectangular (~2in long 1in wide and about .5in thick) with a valve stem sticking out of it. Once he got the TPM out he stuck the valve stem that came with my new wheels in and aired the tires back up (they are probably horribly out of balance, but they hold air now). So, there is no way to get the TPM's out without at minimum the above procedure. Sorry...

Lol, I thought the same thing. I assumed he was trying to remove his throttle position sensor for some reason.
