I gotta say... I have never heard of a bird attacking its reflection in a car... or an armadillo turning around to ram the side of a car.

Before my first payment my IS350 was in the shop removing the damage from a pellet gun. The drivers door was hit my someone while it was parked on the street during the day. Had to remove in the interior panel and fix the good sized dent and repaint the door.

I washed my IS one Saturday afternoon and I ***** you not (pun intended), there were 15 bird crap spots quarter-sized or larger just an hour later all over the car. It wasn't even parked under a tree. I ended up washing it again.

okay guys. i've got the paint protect and clear bra installed on My IS350. has anyone had these mishaps occur to them with these things installed? im not quite sure if theres a free redo on the paint protect just in case something ever does happen, like a body shop ends up fixings a huge dent and repainting it and the paint protect is no longer on that spot.

This car I've been lucky with in many respects including bird poop. My dark green Grand AM was a magnet for brid crap. It was so bad sometimes I would have to get professional washes done to get the stains from the clearcoat.

I already do have minor knicks in my rims. I dont know if they are from me parking next to a curb or already there. Its annoying but hardly noticeable.

Havn't even had my car a week yet, and I had a tarp jump out in front of me last night on the freeway.

Good thing for the clear bra, as that sucker really scratched up the bra.

Of course, it happens to be the driver side, and I am wanting the dealer to reinstall the bra on the bumper portion because of bubble/crease.

I'm guessing they are going to use this against me when I take it in.

We were sick. I washed & waxed and buffed, and washed and zaino'd and zaino'd. It still has a slight etch. That crap must be straight acid.

You can't tell it just standing there looking at it, but if you get down and look at slight angle, you can see a spot on the clear coat. Damn Bird. They are very territorial in the spring. Never has happened to any of our other vehicles, even though they were in the driveway too!
We went to the beach for a week , took the 350. The bird forgot about the car, or a hawk got him. Havn't seen him since.
Have you tried using Lime away? I had a sliver dollar sized bird poop stain on my previous car (G35) and couldn't get if off for a month at different car washes. Then I went to this one car wash where they used a small drop of lime awayh and it literally melted the near 1 month old stain (no damage to car). But it did take off the wax so I had to wax just a tiny spot.

Default Lime-away

Really, Lime-away? I would never thought of that. I appreciate the tip. I tell you this Robin was possessed! He was on a mission to destroy. I chased it away several times. Our resident Sparrow ignores the car.

Yea, same here, it seems that this car is a bird crap magnet
