Default New Here - New IS250 AWD Love it But...

Hi ALL

Love my new IS250 AWD, always wanted one. I have had BMW's (they are cacas- always in the shop and Mercedes (old technolgy and they are dated), but I think this one is well thought out.

The Nav could use some tweaking...could be stream lined...

Anyway, I am scared of heights, so i need this bad boy to be lowered....

why can' t I find any lowering springs for the IS250 AWD....

HHHHHHHHHHHHHELPPPPPPPPPPPP.....esp Tein...get going,,,i can't take it any more...

yours truly,

LexusLady

PS, I see that Eibach has them for the 250 RWD, but not the AWD - what gives...

im in the same boat as u. i have an is250 awd as well and need some springs. unfortunately we are going to have to wait until midsummer before tein has a set available for the AWD. some folks here have used the Tanabe DF210 springs from the GS430 and have an sucess swapping out to those. i am personally going to wait until tein comes out with their set.

I just want a mild drop,

the DF210 are to radical for me.

Wonder if any others will fit

If you can find a spring for the IS350, they fit too apparently. But this has not been tried, I've just looked at diagrams of the stock suspension pieces and it looks like they are the same. Only difference may be the spring rate. But with the weight difference between the 350 and 250AWD, 100-200lbs or so, the spring rates won't affect the cars. Not to a point where you would notice more bounce and what not.

the tanabe NF210 has an application for 2006 GS 300AWD, which is similar to is250AWD. another member on this forum, chickenboy, has already purchased the DF210s for 06GS and installed on his ISAWD. u could see his car on the thread "aftermarket wheel owners post your setup." i purchased them from Ed at Bob Baker Lexus in Cali. his number 619 -440-5398. i will put up pics soon. i have the same wheels as the member r6z9r, 19" momo FXL2.

Tanabe does not have anything for the AWD version yet, the GS are all for RWD.

I am trying the NF210 for the 350 this weekend.

I think anything lower than 1 inch would be bad. Most automakers that hat AWD are a bit higher for liability purposes I think.

Really 1 inch is not much, but the car looks a ton better for some reason lowered

Agreed, haven't seen anything around NJ but bone stock though. Good luck with the project!
